I became a private investigator in 1984 after graduating from St. Anselm’s College with a degree in Criminology. After handling a variety of cases ranging from criminal to domestic to worker’s compensation, I eventually specialized in personal injury investigations involving products that crippled and killed people. My clients were Boston’s most prestigious law firms, including Swartz & Swartz, Sugarman & Sugarman and Hill & Barlow.

I became a marketing consultant in 1995 teaching business owners the marketing strategies that had made my own businesses successful. My first client was the head of one of the largest law firms in Massachusetts who agreed to test my marketing strategies. After doubling the firm’s clientele and making them millions of dollars in added profits, my new marketing agency was quickly in high demand.

After suffering from a five-year chronic depression, I wrote a book to give hope and inspiration to people suffering with similar brain disorders. The book became a bestseller in many major markets and continues to be one of the publisher’s top sellers.

This is the collaboration mentioned in the home page interview where I ghostwrote my co-author’s chapters and alternated those with chapters of my own. The collaboration turned out much more powerful than if either one of us had written a book alone.

After studying such subjects as mediumship, near-death experience, past-life regression and after-death communication for more than five years, I realized that one’s level of grief is often in direct relation to one’s level of belief in an afterlife. When I founded OfSpirit.com Magazine, I never expected it to turn into one of the top resources for holistic, spiritual and self-improvement information on the Internet. I was simply filling a hole I recognized while doing research for a related book. Today, writers, experts and famous authors from around the world provide OfSpirit.com Magazine with articles and interviews that fill our 1500 plus pages. Not only has my role as editor of the magazine taught me a lot about alternative healing, it has given me invaluable experience editing the hundreds of articles we publish every year, which has improved my own writing abilities beyond measure.

This site was created after writing a book on this subject. Recognizing that there were many scam artists ripping people off in this field, and since I had received over 100 readings from psychic mediums around the world in preparation of this book, I created this website to offer my personal recommendations to the public. Like OfSpirit.com Magazine, the site took off beyond my wildest expectations and flooded me with media interviews, public speaking invitations and even opportunities to be included in other authors’ books on the subject.

Recognizing a relationship between one’s level of grief and one’s level of belief in an afterlife, I created this site as a resource site for people dealing with grief to learn more about spiritually related subjects. Despite being a tiny site compared to my other sites, I have received more emails of gratitude for publishing this website than from all my other sites put together.

When the publisher invited me to write the Foreword for this book, I jumped at the opportunity. It is one of the most comprehensive books on the subject.

I felt truly spoiled to be invited to write the Foreword for this book, as well. The book producer said the publisher had never asked the same person to write two Forewords for the same book series.

This was another honor to be featured as an expert in this book on mediumship.

While I have been published in magazines and newspapers across the country, the majority of my writing is on the Internet, both on my own websites as well as several other magazines, e-zines and resource sites. OfSpirit.com has more than forty articles I’ve written about mind-body-spirit subjects alone, including articles about my personal experiences trying practitioner services involving past-life regression, healing bodywork, meditation, tarot, astrology, channeling, palmistry and even a crystal reading.

I began public speaking as a marketing consultant, and have since shared my knowledge and experiences through lectures and workshops for all my books. Public speaking and authoring books tend to go hand-in-hand. Over the years, I’ve spoken to thousands of people in audiences ranging from forty to four hundred on subjects including: marketing, depression, grief healing, personal and spiritual growth, mediumship, nonfiction book writing, and book marketing and promotion.
